Biography: Merab Kiladze M.D., Ph.D. is Professor of Surgery, heading Department of Surgery at Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and at American Hospital Tbilisi. He graduated from Tbilisi State Medical Institute and accomplished his research and clinical fellowships at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, (USA), National Centers of Surgery and Oncology, Moscow (Russia), National Cancer Center Hospital, Tokyo (Japan), Medical Center of Technical University, Munich (Germany). As Visiting Professor, he used to work in Surgical University Clinic of Wurzburg and Frankfurt am Main (Germany), and Sheba Medical Center (Tel-Aviv, Israel).
